Comparing the 2 – Womanizer vs Satisfyer

The Womanizer Liberty and Satisfyer 2 Pro both use “Air Pulse Technology”. Air Pulse Technology has been out for a while now and has had great reviews posted all over the internet. Basically, it’s clitoral stimulation, without direct contact to the clit itself. Today, we decided to share our experience with two of the top toys. The Womanizer Liberty vs the Satisfyer 2 Pro. At the time you are reading this, there are likely newer models of both available. As of this writing, the Satisfyer 2 Pro already has a Gen 3 model available, our review is Gen 1. Both brands have other Air Pulse toys in their line up, but these are the two we tested.

Satisfyer 2 Pro

On one of our (many) trips to the local sex shop, I decided to try out the Womanizer Liberty. I’ve heard both good and not so good reviews on them, and figured it was time to try out a new one. I’ve tried a similar toy in the past, so I’ll give you a quick overview of both, and compare them. I have to say, I think the terminology with these toys is slightly misleading. Air Pressure Technology, which claims to be touchless, isn’t exactly touchless. I guess in the sense that it doesn’t have to be pressed against your clit so much as it surrounds it to form a seal for the suction and vibration, it could be considered touchless. That may or may not be something you are concerned with; I just prefer a little more accuracy when I’m deciding on what I’m buying.

Womanizer vs Satisfyer
Satisfyer 2 Pro

My first experience with the air pressure sex toy was the Satisfyer. I got it maybe several years ago, when it first came out.

I really enjoy sex toys, but it’s the first one I’d gotten solely for clitoral stimulation. It’s fairly lightweight, roughly about 6.5” long, and about 6 oz. There are 11 settings, and a magnetic charger. I’m sure those of us that have used both can all agree, rechargeable toys are so much more convenient than battery-operated ones! How frustrating when your batteries die…you get close to the grand finale only to have it flake on you, and you have to either search for a battery or find an alternative.

I’m a big fan of clitoral stimulation, so I really enjoy this toy. I wouldn’t say the Satisfyer is loud…but it’s not something I’d use in the bathtub if I weren’t home alone. It is waterproof, however, so if you’ve got the privacy to do so try it! Using it solo is fun, and of course your partner can also use it on you, so that’s a plus!

Essentially, you place the head of the toy over your clit, and when you push the button on the back the suction starts, along with vibration. You can change the intensity of vibration to whatever feels best, and then just lay back and enjoy! This one is best with water-based lube, if you’re inclined to use any. It’s easy to clean up, so that’s a bonus.

Womanizer Liberty

Womanizer vs Satisfyer
Womanizer Liberty

A couple weeks ago, I upgraded to the Womanizer. I say upgrade, because where the Satisfyer was 6.5”, the Womanizer is just a touch over 4 oz, and the head is slightly smaller on the Womanizer. It fits easily in your hand while using. Smaller means more discreet, but it does not mean it doesn’t work as well! I really liked that the Womanizer comes with a cover for the front, to keep it clean and ready to use again next time, as well as another silicone replacement piece for the head. It also came with a little black drawstring bag. The rechargeable magnetic battery is, of course, fantastic.

The Womanizer is quiet on the first 3 settings and gets progressively louder after that. It works just like the Satisfyer. One thing I’m not particularly fond of is that you have to press both buttons that are located on the same side as the head to turn it on or adjust the settings. It’s not really a deal-breaker, but it would be a little more convenient to adjust it from the other side. I was able to use it in the tub without worrying about anyone asking what the weird sounds coming from the bathroom were. The vibrations felt pretty good, and as seems to be the case with most of my toys, I didn’t make it very long before orgasming. Water-based lube is your friend here, so stock up and enjoy!

So... Liberty vs Satisfyer - which is best?

I’m going to have to go with the Womanizer on this one, for two reasons. Discretion is a big thing when you’ve got kiddos around. Smaller and quieter is best for me, as long as we’re not sacrificing pleasure level. I like that it’s small enough to fit in my pocket or carry in my purse discreetly. It’s a little more comfortable to use the womanizer, due to the shape and size. The cover is another feature that I really appreciate. Honestly, with the cover on, no one would even know what it was. In terms of using them, I’d say they’re very similar. Both certainly achieve the goal!!

What does Shadow Think about "Womanizer vs Satisfyer 2 Pro"

Mind you, my opinion on this is purely from the perspective of what I see, and what Barbwire tells me. My first observation was that she truly enjoyed both toys, however, with both it didn’t take a lot of time until they were put away and hardly ever used again. I do think she enjoyed them a lot as a new toy. They just aren’t something that she goes back for more of.

I’d say it’s kinda like the bad boy in high-school. Great fun for a little while, and you may call them back up later in life for a go-round, but better and more long term toys are available. When it comes to “Touchless” toys, or toys that don’t make direct contact on the clit, she uses her Rose MUCH more often. Looking for more articles on clitoral stimulation?
